Zusammenfassung

Technische Fortschritte im Bereich der pränatalen MRT-Bildgebung ermöglichen heute eine detaillierte nichtinvasive bildgebende Beurteilung des fetalen Thorax. Aufgrund der zunehmend besseren Verfügbarkeit der Methode werden Kenntnisse über grundlegende fetale MRT-Untersuchungstechniken, deren Sicherheitsaspekte sowie die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der fetalen Thoraxdiagnostik von Perinatalmedizinern erwartet. Neben der multiplanaren Darstellung ermöglicht die fetale MRT eine quantitative Erfassung sowie die prognostische Einschätzung von Thoraxläsionen und der häufig assoziierten Lungenhypoplasie. Dies ist sowohl bei der Beurteilung von Fällen mit kongenitalen Zwerchfellhernien, zystisch adenomatoiden Malformationen, Bronchusatresien und Pleuraergüssen, als auch bei Skeletdysplasien, nach vorzeitigen Blasensprung und Oligohydramnion hilfreich. In Zukunft wird die fetale MR Thoraxbildgebung verstärkt als perinatale Bildgebungsmodalität in klinische Algorithmen eingebunden werden.
