Zusammenfassung
Die Hautveränderungen imponieren zumeist als raue oder schuppende Rötungen, deren Durchmesser einige Millimeter bis zu 1–2 cm betragen kann. Eine tastbare Verhärtung (Infiltration) fehlt bei initialen Veränderungen (Abb. 3.1), stellt sich jedoch häufig im weiteren Verlauf ein (Abb. 3.2). Aktinische Keratosen finden sich fast ausschließlich in den sonnenlichtexponierten Hautarealen. Da es sich bei aktinischen Keratosen um Hautkrebsvorstufen (Carcinomata in situ) handelt, ist eine konsequente Therapie erforderlich. Die Therapiemöglichkeiten sind vielfältig und orientieren sich am individuellen klinsichen Bild. Die Behandlung erfolgt mit topisch aufgetragenen Wirkstoffen (5-Fluorouracil, Imiquimod, Ingenolmebutat, Diclofenac-Natrium), mittels chirurgischen und laserchirurgischen sowie photodynamischen Massnahmen. Die wirksamste Prävention ist strikte UV-Vermeidung.
