Zusammenfassung

Im vorliegenden Kapitel wird das perioperative Management für eine laparoendoskopische Hernienoperation beschrieben. Detailliert wird der Verlauf einer (laparoskopischen) Hernienbehandlung vom ersten Kontakt bis zur abschließenden postoperativen Sprechstunde erläutert. Ein Ablaufschema verdeutlicht den Verlauf. Die prä- und postoperative Diagnostik (klinische Untersuchung und DIUS-Ultraschalltechnik) werden vorgestellt und mit Ergebnisdaten belegt. Im Abschnitt „Behandlungsplan“ wird auf die Frage „ambulant oder kurzstationär“ eingegangen. Die perioperative Antibiotikatherapie und die Thromboembolieprophylaxe sind Themen eigener Abschnitte, ebenso die präoperative Haarentfernung und postoperative Schmerzbehandlung. Das nötige Entlassungsmanagement ebenso thematisiert.
