Zusammenfassung

Der aortobiiliakale arterielle Verschluss, das sog. Leriche-Syndrom, ist eine eher seltene, schwere Form der fortgeschrittenen pAVK. An spezialisierten Zentren mit erfahrenen Ärzten ist die technisch anspruchsvolle endovaskuläre Intervention eine sichere und effektive Behandlungsoption. Nach bevorzugt antegrader Drahtpassage der verschlossenen Aorta und Beckenarterien wird über die aus den Femoralarterien externalisierten Führungsdrähte die Rekonstruktion der verschlossenen Gefäßsegmente mit Vordilatation und Stentimplantation vorgenommen. Eine hohe Offenheitsrate und eine niedrige Komplikationsrate machen das endovaskuläre Vorgehen für die meisten Patienten mit Leriche-Syndrom sinnvoll.
