Zusammenfassung
Für die Behandlung femoropoplitealer sowie infragenoidaler Läsionen stehen unterschiedliche Atherektomiesysteme zur Verfügung. Dazu zählen die direktionale Atherektomie, die rotierend-aspirierende Atherektomie sowie die orbitale Atherektomie. Die Funktionsweise der einzelnen System unterscheidet sich erheblich. Die erste und somit wohl meiste Erfahrung wurde mit der direktionalen Atherektomie gesammelt. In Bezug auf die beiden anderen System ist die Datenlage übersichtlicher. Mit allen Systemen können prinzipiell Mehretagenprobleme behandelt werden, da für unterschiedliche Gefäßlumina variable Systemgrößen zur Verfügung stehen, die es zu beachten gilt. Für jedes der Systeme gilt ferner, dass der Anwender sich mit den technischen Details und Vorgehensweise der Atherektomiesysteme vertraut macht, um die Sicherheit sowie Effizienz zu gewährleisten.
