Zusammenfassung
Der schwierige Atemweg ist als klinische Situation definiert, bei der ein erfahrener Anästhesist Schwierigkeiten bei der Maskenventilation, der Intubation oder beidem hat. Unter schwieriger Intubation versteht man, dass ein erfahrener Anästhesist die Glottis in der direkten Laryngoskopie nicht einsehen kann und ein Vorschieben des Tubus in die Trachea zunächst scheitert.
