Zusammenfassung

Hämatologische Untersuchungen mittels POCT reichen von der singulären Bestimmung des Hämoglobins (Hb) über die BGA-Messung der hämatologischen Parameter Hb und Hämatokrit (HK) bis hin zum kompletten Blutbild an vollwertigen POCT-Blutbildanalysatoren. Unter dem Begriff »Blutbild« wird die Zählung der Erythrozyten, der Leukozyten (einschließlich der Verteilung von Granulozyten, Lymphozyten und Monozyten) sowie der Thrombozyten zusammengefasst. Hinzu kommt die Bestimmung von Hb und HK aber auch die Angabe von Zelleigenschaften, z. B. der Erythrozytenindizes – mittleres korpuskuläres Volumen (»mean corpuscular volume«, MCV), mittleres korpuskuläres Hb (»mean corpuscular hemoglobin«, MCH) und mittlere korpuskuläre Hb-Konzentration (»mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration«, MCHC) – und weitere Informationen wie beispielsweise Reifungsstadien einzelner Zellreihen (z. B. Normoblasten, Retikulozyten, unreife Granulozyten, unreife Thrombozyten).
