Zusammenfassung

Sport ist ein zunehmender und wichtiger Bestandteil unseres Lebens geworden. Ob Wochenendathlet, Freizeitsportler, Amateur oder Profi – die Teilnehmer und Sportmöglichkeiten in In- und Outdoor-Bereichen wachsen stetig. Regelmäßige körperliche Übung hat eine lange Liste von positiven Effekten für Körper und Psyche, doch sind auch akute sowie chronische Gesundheitsbeeinträchtigungen durch Sport bekannt. Die Haut, als Organ zwischen dem Menschen und seiner Umgebung, zeigt ein durch Sportaktivitäten bedingt großes Spektrum dermatologischer Erkrankungen. Zur Steigerung des Leistungsniveaus werden zunehmend unterschiedlichste Dopingmittel wie Anabolika, Stimulanzien, Diuretika, Peptid- und Glykoproteinhormone, Substanzen zur Steigerung der Sauerstoff-Transportkapazität und Narkotika eingesetzt, was zu möglichen Dermatosen führen kann.
