Zusammenfassung
Glaubt man den Verlautbarungen der Notenbanken, so ist die Sicherung der Geldwertstabilität das primäre Ziel der Geldpolitik. Dennoch beobachten wir in allen Industrieländern Inflation, also dauerhaft steigende Preisniveaus. Warum lassen Notenbanken wie die amerikanische Fed oder die Europäische Zentralbank diesen Verlust an Geldwertstabilität zu?
