FormalPara BeschreibungHydroxylysin (Hyl) ist ein Bestandteil der Kollagene. Ausgehend von Lysin wird Hyl durch Einwirkung des Enzyms Lysyl-Hydroxylase synthetisiert. Mangel des Enzyms führt zu Ehlers-Danlos-Syndrom. Die Konzentrationen im Plasma sind niedrig. Im Urin wird Hyl als Glykosid ausgeschieden.
