Zusammenfassung
Im Zusammenhang mit der flächendeckenden Digitalisierung der Erdoberfläche geht dieses Kapitel auf die Eigenschaften der Big Data und die damit verbundenen wissenschaftlichen Herausforderungen für das Data-Mining ein. Die Rolle des raumzeitlichen Data-Mining für die Handhabung mit dem Big-Data-Ökosystem wird hervorgehoben. Einige exemplarische Forschungs- und Entwicklungsergebnisse entlang des Wertschöpfungsprozesses von Geodaten-Matching, Event-Mining bis hin zur Verhaltensinterpretation anhand der GPS-Trajektorien werden vorgestellt
