Operationsresultate bei der Operation nach Moszkowicz

Summary

The Moszkowicz-operation is a simple but successful operative process, which leads to elimination of the varices in one third of the cases and to a considerable improvement in the symptoms in three quarter of those operated.

The catheter should be introduced as deeply as possible to achieve the greatest possible obliteration-effect in the lower leg.

The operative results can be further improved by a high ligature of the vena saphena and the inclusion of all the side-branches in the fovea ovalis, as well as, in particular, repeated percutaneous after-obliteration.

Similar favourable results can be achieved with the Moszkowicz-operation to those achieved with more complicated operative processes.

Zusammenfassung

Die Operation nach Moszkowicz ist ein einfaches, aber erfolgreiches Operationsverfahren, das in 1/3 der Fälle zur Beseitigung der Varicen und bei, der Operierten zu einer erheblichen Besserung der Beschwerden führt.

Der Katheter soll so tief wie möglich eingeführt werden, um den höchsten Verödungseffekt am Unterschenkel zu erzielen.

Die Operationsergebnisse lassen sich ferner durch die hohe Ligatur der Vena saphena und Mitnahme aller Seitenäste in der Fovea ovalis verbessern sowie insbesondere durch wiederholte percutane Nachverödungen.

Mit der Operation nach Moszkowicz lassen sich ähnlich günstige Ergebnisse wie mit aufwendigeren Operationsverfahren erzielen.
