Die radikale Resektion beim chronischen Lymphödem

Summary

In patients with chronic lymphedema resection methods are always indicated if the thickened subcutaneous tissue shows connective tissue induration and the edema character has been lost. Retransplantation of skin as a full thickness flap results in skin coverage which can be normally stressed and which does not restrict excision. After a brief description of the surgical technique the author discusses the personal results with fiillow-up examinations of up to 13 years. The magnitude of the surgical procedure is justified by the early and late results which are obtained.

Zusammenfassung

Hesektionsverfahren sind beim chronischen Lymphödem immer dann indiziert, wenn die verdickte Subcutis bindegewebig induriert und der Ödemcharakter verloren gegangen ist. Die Retransplantation der Haut als Vollhautlappen ergibt eine normal belastbare Hautbedeckung und setzt der Excision keine Grenzen. Nach kurzer Beschreibung der operativen Technik werden die eigenen Ergebnisse mit Nachkontrollen bis zu 13 Jahren besprochen. Die Grüße des Eingriffs wird durch die erzielten Früh-und Spätresultate gerechtfertigt.
