Abstract
IN THIS Chapter the notion of Sobolev space H1(Ω) is introduced. We state the Sobolev imbedding theorem, Rellich theorem, and Trace theorem for H1(Ω), without proof. For the proof of the theorems the reader is referred to ADAMS [1].
