Abstract

Engineering workstations are expected to offer an effective facility for integration of several functions in engineering design, drafting, machine tooling, manufacturing, and project management. The usefulness of these workstations is often compromised because of the industries’ inability to rapidly develop and integrate complex applications software. With changing user needs, the ability to provide highly functional customizable interactive computer graphics applications is very significant to the effectiveness of workstations on a continuing basis.
