Abstract
Enterprise models discussed by Pichler (1961), Mueller-Mehrbach (1964), Teusch-Schluetter (1985), and Mesko (1986) depend on the characteristics of the production process and on the operative purposes but they represent only a specific form of the input/output modelling (Kloock, 1969). The assumptions that each product is produced in the same technological way and at the same production centre can sometimes limit the applicability of input/output modelling.
