Obwohl moderne Antipsychotika wirksam und im Unterschied zu herkömmlichen Neuroleptika besser verträglich sind, werden sie in Deutschland und Europa nur bei etwa einem Drittel der Schizophreniepatienten verordnet. Eine europäische Umfrage unter Psychiatern und Patienten untersuchte die Gründe [1].
