Electron microscope study of mouse mammary carcinoma

Abstract

Investigators closely connected with the field of mammary carcinoma in certain highly inbred strains of mice, are aware of the important role played by Bittner’s milk agent in this type of oncogenesis. The agent has been shown to possess some, though not all, of the properties of well established viruses (1).
