Zusammenfassung
Auch ein ideales Ultramikrotom (reproduzierbarer inerter Vorschub, einwandfreie Präparatführung, vollkommene Unempfindlichkeit gegen Einfluß äußerer sowie schneidebedingter Kräfte usw.) sowie ein ideales Messere2 und ein optimales Präparate schützen nicht vor Störungen, die in der Natur des Schneidevorganges selbst liegen. Dies sind vornehmlich: Unregelmäßigkeiten der Schnittdicke, „Chatter“ (1, 2) und Deformationen der Schnitte (3).
Eigene Untersuchungen, die im Rahmen dieses Referates veröffentlicht werden, wurden durch die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft unterstützt, der an dieser Stelle herzlich gedankt sei.
