Abstract
The behaviour of precipitated barium sulphate is of considerable general interest since this insoluble salt is commonly used in the estimation of sulphate in gravimetric analysis. A great deal of attention has been directed to this subject in the past and several good general accounts of the chemical side of this problem are available.
