Abstract
Ottewiland Horne(6)recently made an electron microscopic study of the AgI colloids and detected the presence of extremely small particles (∼ 10 Å) in the colloidal state. The object of the present investigation was to study the crystal structure of the AgI particles in the colloidal state and specially to follow the changes in structure, if any, occurring with the age of the sol.
