Zusammenfassung
Blockchain-Anwendungen werden bisher primär für marktbezogene Transaktionen diskutiert. Wir ergänzen dies und fokussieren auf organisationsinterne Steuerungsprozesse. Dabei loten wir das Potenzial von Custom Tokens und Smart Contracts besonders für die Koordination und Steuerung von Projekten aus. Anwendungsversuche und Forschungen sind hier bisher noch spärlich. Das Projektmanagement bietet sich an, weil es sich durch eine hohe Standardisierung auszeichnet und bereits heute in hohem Masse durch IT unterstützt wird. Smart Contracts lassen sich mit entsprechenden Sprachen für die Implementierung von Projektaufträgen, von Meilensteinen sowie „Gates“ und des Projektabschlusses anwenden. Custom Tokens bieten dazu die Möglichkeit der Anreizgestaltung. Wir beleuchten mögliche Effekte vor dem Hintergrund sozialpsychologischer und organisationsbezogener Forschungen.
