Zusammenfassung

New legislation and the demand to increase the effective efficiency of the propulsion, require an always far-reaching optimization of the complete powertrain. In addition, nitrogen oxide emissions from internal combustion engines have recently been subject to strong public perception and discussion, which has put additional pressure on legislation.
