Abstract
This chapter starts reporting the study results by summarizing overall feedback from participants in the expert study. It then clarifies the framework conditions of magical thinking by providing a working definition that is embedded in interdisciplinary considerations. Substantial bereavement-specific themes of magical thinking are listed afterwards, comprising many concrete examples mentioned by (clinical) experts or found in written accounts of bereaved individuals.
