Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich aus soziologischer Perspektive mit dem wissenschaftlichen Diskurs um Glücksspiel. Die beiden Aspekte der Pathologisierung von Glücksspielverhalten sowie die Responsibilisierung des individuellen Spielers werden dabei in den Fokus gerückt, um herauszustellen, dass es sich bei beiden nicht um selbstverständliche Gegebenheiten handelt, sondern vielmehr um kontingente gesellschaftliche Sachverhalte.
