Abstract
This chapter is dedicated to the description of our empirical study carried out among German Chinese International Joint Ventures between November 2006 and September 2007. It was designed to allow for the systematic testing of the theoretical hypotheses derived in Section III-1, taking account of the general factors discussed in Section III-2.
