Abstract

In this section, the design and the results of the pretest are reported, where the person descriptions that were used in the main study were tested. The goal of the pretest was to ensure that a person a) showing gender-NCBs is perceived as less masculine (and more feminine) than a person showing gender-CBs; b) showing homosexual- SBs is more likely judged to be homosexual than a person showing heterosexual-SBs.
