Das Thema ‘Künstlerische Promotion’ wird seit einigen Jahren in den Kunsthochschulen weithin heiß diskutiert. Bislang war üblicherweise an Kunsthochschulen mit Promotionsrecht hierzulande ‘nur’ eine Promotion zum Dr. phil. möglich mit Themen, die so unähnlich jenen an Universitäten nicht waren.
