Das 67. Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit der mathematischen Statistik, die auch schließende Statistik genannt wird. Nach einer Diskussion von Schätzfunktionen und deren Eigenschaften werden wichtige mathematische Tests eingeführt und exemplarisch in Python durchgerechnet. Es wird erklärt, was Hypothesentests und p-Werte sind und was die typischen Fehler bei der Anwendung statistischer Methoden sind.
