Résumé

Nous allons discuter sous cette rubrique d’une série de formes tantôt purement cliniques — nous ne les rappellerons alors que pour les situer momentanément —tantôt anatomocliniques, mais dont aucune étiologie n’est aujourd’hui entrevue. On devrait, pour etre juste, ouvrir ce chapitre par la Maladie d’Economo (encéphalite léthargique A) dont l’agent causal nous échappe toujours. La situation nosologique de cette maladie est cependant, sous sa forme épidémique, si universellement acceptée que nous l’avons traitée plus haut sur le même plan que les encéphalites primaires à virus identifié.
