Zusammenfassung
Patienten mit fortgeschrittenem Tumorleiden haben eine sehr schlechte Überlebensprognose [1, 3]. Dringliche viszeralchirurgische Operationsindikationen ergeben sich bei bis zu 50% dieser Patienten [3]. Aufgrund des fortgeschrittenen Tumorstadiums steht man insbesonders in der Notfallsituation sehr häufig vor der Frage, inwieweit die chirurgische Intervention eine echte Palliation für den Patienten darstellt, oder nur den Leidensweg des Patienten verlängert oder aggraviert.
