In der Klinik stellen per- und subtrochantere pathologische Frakturen häufig ein Problem dar, weil fortgeschrittene Knochenzerstörung, Déminéralisation benachbarter Femurabschnitte und Osteolysen im Pfannenbereich die Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Verbundosteosynthesen begrenzen.
