Summary
The film demonstrates the transfemoral implantation of a bifurcated stentgraft (Mialhe-STENTOR, MinTec), a self-expanding nitinol stent covered by a woven Dacron tissue. The stentgraft consists of two separate pieces which are transfemorally introduced and assembled within the aortic lumen to the final bifurcation. We prefer this system because of its versatility and easy handling. The tape reflects our experience (78 cases in our own department, 25 elsewhere) in endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Zusammenfassung
Es wird die transfemorale Implantation einer Bifurkationsstentpro-these (Mialhe-STENTOR, Fa. MinTec) demonstriert. Die Prothese — ein selbstexpandierender Stent aus Nitinol, mit gewebtem Dacron ummantelt — wird in zwei Teilstücken transfemoral eingebracht und erst im Aortenlumen zur endgültigen Bifurkation zusammengesetzt. Dieses neuartige Konzept wird im Ablauf anhand von Operationsaufnahmen demonstriert.
Der Film spiegelt unsere Erfahrung (78 eigene Implantationen, weitere 25 auswärts) mit der endovaskulären Behandlung von Aortenaneurysmen wider.
