Abstract
Proton and carbon-13 NMR measurements with and without magic angle spinning were performed in order to study the molecular and spin dynamics of the plastic crystal 1-cyanoadamantane in its metastable and stable phase. The effects of molecular motions and spin diffusion on the NMR line shape are discussed.
