Abstract
Hyperchaotic behavior, defined as having two positive global expansion exponents (Lyapunov exponents), has been found for some model calculations which well simulate strongly chaotic self-spiking of the microwave absorption observed by nonlinear antiferromagnetic resonance. The transition from chaos to hyperchaos is discussed and the distributions of local expansion exponents are introduced.
