Abstract
We present experimental results concerning an 17O NMR study of a chemically and structurally characterized enriched 17O powder sample of the 2:2:1:2 phase (Tc=80K) of the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O type of superconductors. In the normal phase, from the frequency dependence of the spectrum and T1 measurements, and also by taking into account structural data, we were able to infer an assignment of the lines in the spectra. NMR results in the superconducting phase are discussed. In addition, we present preliminary results in the 2:2:2:3 phase of the bismuth compound.
