29Si Solid-State NMR Study of the Hydration Products of Tricalcium Silicate in Pastes and Diluted Aqueous Suspensions

Abstract

The hydration reaction of tricalcium silicate in pastes and stirred diluted suspensions has been followed by 29Si solid-state NMR techniques. Our goal was to determine the structure, the kinetics and the reactionnal mechanism of the solid hydrates formation.
