Zusammenfassung
Die sog. Posttransfusionshepatitis (PTH) stellt auch heute noch eine ernste Komplikation bei der Therapie mit Blut und Blutprodukten dar. Die Häufigkeit gemeldeter, klinisch manifester Hepatitisfälle nach Krankenhausaufenthalt mit Bluttransfusion betrug 1978 in Tübingen 1,6 Erkrankungen pro 1000 transfundierter Konserven. Schließt man den Fehler lückenhafter Meldungen aus und erfaßt zusätzlich noch die klinisch inapparenten Fälle, so ergibt sich eine Häufigkeit von 19 Erkrankungen pro 1000 transfundierter Konserven. Diese Zahl wurde 1979 in einer prospektiven Studie an einem bezüglich der sog. PTH allerdings besonders gefährdeten Kollektiv, an Patienten mit Operationen am offenen Herzen, von uns ermittelt.
