Zusammenfassung
Im Gegensatz zu Untersuchungen bei Erwachsenen sind bis jetzt nur wenige Untersuchungen bekannt, in welchen die Konzentrationen des atrialen natriuretischen Peptids (ANP) bei Kindern unter verschiedenen physiologischen und pathologischen Bedingungen bestimmt wurden. Weiterhin sind bislang noch keine Studien über die gleichzeitige Bestimmung von ANP und zyklischem Guanosin-3′,5′-Monophosphat (cGMP) bei Kindern veröffentlicht. Die Effekte von ANP an den Zielorganen werden zumindest partiell durch das Nukleotid c-GMP als second messenger vermittelt. Das Nukleotid cGMP kann somit als Marker für die Wirkung von ANP auf zellulärer Ebene benutzt werden (2).
