Leistungen der Tumorchirurgie bei Tumoren des Dünndarmes

Between 1. 1. 1970 and 31. 12. 1986/31. 12. 1987, 90 patients with primary malignancies of the small bowel were treated at the Department of Surgery of the University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Only 21% (19 of 90) of the patients had no regional or distant metastases at the time of the operation. The 5-year-survival rate of the 90 patients was 41% ±14%. Twenty-one of 34 patients suffering from adeno-carcinoma were treated by curative surgery. The 5-year-survival rate of these 21 patients was 44% ± 23%. The prognosis of patients with primary malignant tumors of the small bowel depends on early diagnosis and curative surgery.

Zusammenfassung

Zwischen 1. 1. 1970 und 31. 12. 1986/31. 12. 1987 wurden an der Chirurgischen Universitätsklinik Erlangen-Nürnberg 90 Patienten mit primären Malignomen des Dünndarmes erstbehandelt. Nur 21% (19 von 90) der Patienten hatten zum Zeitpunkt der Operation keine Metastasen. Die 5-Jahres-Überlebensrate aller 90 Patienten betrug 41% ±14%. Von 34 Patienten mit Adenokarzinomen konnten 21 kurativ operiert werden. Die 5-Jahres-Überlebensrate dieser 21 Patienten betrug 44%± 23%. Die Prognose von Patienten mit malignen Dünndarmtumoren hängt von einer rechtzeitigen Diagnosestellung und einer kurativen chirurgischen Behandlung ab.
