The indication for operation was mammary ptosis with mild to moderate hyperplasia. The operation was as follows: periareolar skin resection; spherical dissection of the breast parenchyma; shaping of the breast cone with buried sutures; concentrical, multilayered, periareolar skin closure; and, if necessary, resection of an inferior skin triangle. The operation was demonstrated in a patient with asymmetrical ptosis. It left a minimal scar.
