Summary

Arthroscopy of the wrist can be a valuable additional examination of the wrist, because clinical and radiological examination cannot always reveal the cause of post-traumatic disorders. Chondral lesions, synovitis, tears of the disk and intercarpal instabilities are indications for arthroscopy. The systematic examination was demonstrated during a dissection of a cadaver wrist and in a clinical case with degenerative lesions of the disk and intercarpal instability.

Zusammenfassung

Die Arthroskopie des Handgelenkes bietet eine Erweiterung des diagnostischen Spektrums, da oftmals klinische Diagnostik und radiologische Untersuchungsverfahren nicht ausreichen. Die Arthroskopie des Handgelenkes wird bei folgenden Indikationen durchgeführt: Synovitiden der Handgelenkkapsel, Knorpelläsionen, Diskusverletzungen und interkarpalen Instabilitäten. Die Demonstration der arthroskopischen Untersuchung erfolgt am anatomischen Handgelenkspräparat und am klinischen Fall mit degenerativer Diskusläsion und interkarpaler Instabilität.
