Summary
Sequential scintiscans with 99mTc-DTPA are usful for followup evaluations of renal transplants. One of the techniques limitations has been its imprecise imaging of borderline perfused transplants, thus necessitating supplementary angiography. Recently duplex sonography with simultaneous imaging and Doppler effect application has been useful in followup studies. The flow changes can be estimated not only for the main vessels but also for the renal cortical vessels. A typical course is described.
Zusammenfassung
Sequenzszintigraphie mit 99mTc-DTPA erlaubt eine semiquantiative Beurteilung von Transplantatnieren. Bei sehr geringer Durchblutung ist die Aussagekraft begrenzt und hat bisher oft die zusätzliche Angiographie erfordert. Die Anwendung der Duplexsonographie mit gleichzeitiger Darstellung des Transplantates und Ausnutzung des Doppler-Effektes über großen Gefäßen und Nierenrinde erlaubt eine Beurteilung der Blutflußentwicklung am Transplantat. Ein Verlauf ist demonstriert.
