Zusammenfassung
Auf der Intensivstation werden viele verschiedene Kathetermaterialien zum Monitoring oder zur Unterstiitzung des Patienten verwendet. Fehllagen dieses Fremdmaterials konnen zu lebensbedrohlichen Situationen fiihren. Deshalb spielt die Thoraxaufnahme direkt nach Einbringen des Fremdmaterials eine essentielle Rolle, und der Kliniker sollte mit der radiologischen Darstellung der richtigen Lage und von Fehllagen des Fremdmaterials vertraut sein (s. ⊡ Abb. 3.1-3.4), um ggf. eine ziigige Korrektur vornehmen zu konnen (⊡ Tabelle 7.1; Zarshenas et al. 1994).
