Abstract
Mixed opioid agonist/antagonists are a diverse group of medications that have effects on multiple types of opioid receptors. These effects give this group unique properties and have led to them being used for the treatment of pain as well as other indications such as treatment of opioid-induced pruritus and management of opioid addiction.
