Abstract
Anal and anal margin cancers can arise in many clinical settings and are commonly associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Surgical treatment is limited and restricted to very low grade, local disease, and salvage therapy after the failure of chemoradiation. Close clinical follow-up during and after therapy is necessary to ensure proper surveillance.
