Abstract
Phakic intraocular lens (pIOL) implantation is gaining popularity in recent years in treating different refractive errors, and indications for such implantations are being broadened. These changes are mainly due to enhanced intraocular lens structure and improved surgical technique. However, there are still a number of pathologies in which pIOL implantation is considered controversial. In this chapter we will discuss the dilemmas that arise when considering to correct keratoconus related refractive errors with pIOL.
