Abstract

CTA intends to reach up to 10 times better sensitivity (around 1 TeV) than the current IACTs and extend the energy range. The LST are the responsible for the sensitivity below \({\sim }100\) GeV and aim to lower the threshold as much as possible. One of the most important systems to success on this purpose is the camera. The reliability of its components depends on the results obtained from the characterization, i.e. dedicated tests used to evaluate the functionality of the devices and check, in this way, if they reach the desired specifications to achieve the goals of the LST.
