Abstract

We discuss multi-wavelength observations of various compact objects giving emphasis in radio wavelengths. In this review, we will study spectral and timing properties of various Galactic compact objects, giving special attention to enigmatic compact object SS 433 and Galactic center black hole Sgr A*. Effort to search and discovery of transient radio sources from archival and pointed observations is also discussed. The method of determination of accretion rate of a black hole in quiescent state is discussed. We have also studied various properties of supernova and gamma-ray bursts and their host galaxies. The youngest supernova remnant in our galaxy G354.4+0.0 is discovered.
