Abstract
The diagnosis of primary breast lymphoma (PBL) is limited to patients without evidence of systemic lymphoma or leukemia at the time that the breast lesion is detected. Clinically, the disease should involve only the breast or the breast and ipsilateral lymph nodes. PBL is a rare clinical entity that accounts for less than 1% of all patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and approximately 1.7% of all patients with extra lymph node NHL.
